I am 5'2" and while the top is perfect, the bottom appears fitted for someone taller - is much too high on my waist.

The Signature Bottom is cut to sit high on the waist. That is intentional, but it does not work for every height, and ordering a different size will not change it, because the rise stays about the same across sizes. Really impressed with The Signature Set. The quality feels premium, the design is elegant, and everything arrived beautifully packaged. I love this suit and how versatile it is! From hiking, to surfing to playing spike ball in the sand. I can do it all comfortably and not worry about any wardrobe malfunctions!!
